Fox Polypropylene Bassoon
Symphony Bore (Long)
Originally introduced in 1965, the Fox Model IV bassoon's long bore design can be identified by its very warm round tone, with even balance and excellent intonation throughout the entire range. The secure acoustical design and the durable body material make this an economical choice for schools, university music programs, and individuals seeking a second instrument. Budget conscious purchasers of a first instrument also find this a popular choice.
Polypropylene, hand finished. Body lock.
Nickel silver keys with nickel plating. Full German system with high D key. Ring key for wing joint third finger hole. Rollers on F, A(flat), E(flat), and D(flat).
