This handy tool was designed to assist in holding the reed in place while adjusting the reed with either a knife, sandpaper or reed rush. Helps prevent finger cuts and bending of the reed back when holding the reed in your hand during adjustments. Cut the reed not your finger. Retaining band acts as an additional finger to help hold reed in place. Now being used by leading educators and players around the USA.
